Studio

JANCO MILL is a joinery and interior design studio in Orava, Slovakia. We design bespoke joinery and draw it so that a workshop can build it without redrawing — shop drawings, cutting lists and CNC-ready files, all from one model.

The work is modelled parametrically in Autodesk Inventor with Woodwork for Inventor. A late change updates the model, the drawings and the cutting list together, and the joinery machines from that same model — so what arrives on site is what was approved on paper.

What the joinery receives

Sheets from our café bar concept, generated from its model: an overview for each cabinet, then a sheet for every panel with its size, material, banded edges and each hole dimensioned.

Shop drawing sheet for one carcass of the café bar: an isometric view showing the confirmat holes, a parts list with finished sizes and materials, and a small view of where the cabinet sits in the counter.

We do not run a workshop of our own. Production is by the joinery you choose, and we stay involved until the piece is installed. How a job runs is set out on the Process page.
